Project Title	Superman: Behind the scenes
Section 1: Rationale/Review (Level 2 approx 50 words, Level 3 approx 100 words)
Since the start of year, I have learnt so much. I was very much a novice, I did not know how anything worked but I was very eager to learn. I feel that my skills in both using the technology and my understanding of media has really developed. I have completed several projects each giving me new skills that I can develop further in this project or in future projects.  I feel that all the skills and knowledge I have gained since September are going to play a vital part of my Final Major Project this year.
Section 2: Project Concept (Level 2 approx. 100 words, Level 3 approx. 200 words)
My concept for my Final Major Project is an idea to parody the process of film making and the superhero genre  as a whole. My idea is to do a mockumentary of the "new" superman film that is being made on an incredibly low budget. The actor playing superman is fairly unknown but this incredibly difficult to work with. I want the project to be filled with references to other superhero films such as the Justice Leauge  As it is a mockumentary like The Office or The Muppets, I want to have a handheld camera style which is often used in documentaries and can also be used to show the cheapness of the project. As stated above I am hoping to  make a mockumentary so I will be researching into different shows such as The Office, Parks and Rec and The Muppets to gather an understanding of what makes them shows work as a mockumentary

I hope to be able to evaluate my progress every week by doing a short 30 second/ 1 minute summary of what I have done and what I intend to do next. This way I can not only keep track of my progress but know what I still need to work towards.

My Idea:
My idea was to createto create a 10 minuite pilot presentation for my own mockumentary show called Employees about the the lives of the  staff who work at a hotel. The show will feature an ensemble cast of both puppet and human characters. While the show has a large ensemble cast of characters it will focus mainly on 3 puppet characters: Reggie the Dog, Blu the Monkey and Otis. As well as one human charatcer, Lucy Westbrook.

The show has been in development since October 2015 and has gone through a few changes in primary setting and characters but it has remained very much the same format with same main four characters all the way through.

I have been very happy with this idea from the begining of this process however I began to have doubts about the ability to complete this project to the best of my ability. Many factors have contributed to this such as the covid and social distancing, the lack of puppeteers at adecent level and and an overall feeling that the quality of the final project would be poor so I decided against it.

My New idea: A behind the scenes look inside the latest new superman movie in which young unknown actor Clint Fleetwood takes on the role of the Man Of Steel. which proves to be very difficult for the filmamkers because of a low budget, terrible cgi and a very difficult star. 

The piece will make fun of the superhero genre and its over saturation of CGI, demading fan boys and the many other things such as the synder cut, Henry Cavil and his infamous moutsache
